Question:

My Uncle works in a warehouse and does pizza delivery. For the pizza delivery job, he is paid by the amount of deliveries he does and not per hour. He has to deliver haaram pizza, which contain haaram beef, pork, etc.

My Uncle also considers the making and delivery of these haaram pizza to be fine and does not seek alternate job/opportunities to earn from.

Is his income halal? If he give us pizza, is it halal to eat?

If all or majority  his income was to be from the pizza store, would his income still be halal or haaram?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

In principle the income from such an employment will be permissible, however inadvisable. Persistence in such an employment will diminish the love for wholesomeness of halal income. Hence we advise you to request your uncle to seek some other delivery business instead of haram items.

If he gives you a pizza from such a business then that will not be permissible to eat, even if it is simply a vegetarian or cheese pizza. This is simply because of the cross-contamination in making and baking/cooking of the pizza with haram ingredients.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
